Every year, the third weekend of October, in Merano there is in program one of the most popular harvest celebrations in the country: the Merano grape festival. Highlight of this event is on Sunday, when the parade with its beautiful decorated floats brass bands and locals in costume, leads through the historic lanes of the city.
